Dozens of ways to make the date!
Every day I am asked what the most popular way to write the date for their hanger is, and my answer is always the same. There isn’t one... there are dozens! After thousands of hangers I can say that there is not one single favorite way to make the date.
It not only varies by region in terms of how a date is written, but it is as personal as your preference of satin color and of silver or gold! Here in the United States we use the month, day, year format for writing the date but most of Europe and Asia use the day, month, year format for writing the date. So if you see a date written as 6/4/24, make sure you know where the date is being written! This could be June 4th or it could be the 6th of April!
I know these may seem obvious or generalized bits of information but I assure you it is not known to a majority. I have had so many inquiries about it that I knew I had to write it down for everyone to see.
I thought I would list the different takes on the dates and maybe it will give you a little inspiration as well as a little helpful information. Please let me know if I’ve missed any or if you have a special way to write your dates in the comments section! I’d love to hear where you are from and what your region’s preferences are!
Each month can also be represented as a number which coincides with its’ place in line on the calendar. The month can also be abbreviated or written out completely.

I don’t pretend to be any sort of expert on numbers and dates and the etiquette, which no doubt exists, but for hanger sake, its up to you!
